Terms and Conditions of Use

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Jekimo, a privacy-first, passwordless, zero-trust authentication platform designed to provide secure access and optional age verification for sensitive services, including banking, healthcare, adult content, and government portals.

By using Jekimo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not access or use the platform.

1. Definitions

• User: Any individual whose authentication is processed by Jekimo on behalf of a client website or service.
• Client: Any website, service, or platform integrating Jekimo for authentication or age verification.
• Jekimo Platform: The service that provides passwordless authentication, zero-trust verification, tokenized session handling, and optional age checks.
• Token: A temporary, anonymized identifier issued by Jekimo to validate a user session without storing personal biometric data.
• Log: Technical records of verification attempts, stored with anonymized tokens and hashed values, optionally time-stamped for audit purposes.

2. Platform Overview

Jekimo enables Clients to:

• Authenticate Users without storing raw biometric data or personal identifiers.
• Validate Users through tokenized and encrypted landmark vectors in a zero-trust architecture.
• Optionally verify User age using anonymized credit card checks.
• Issue temporary session tokens for access to Client services.
• Maintain audit logs of verification results (OK/KO/risk) without revealing personal data.

3. User Responsibilities

• Users must provide accurate information for optional age verification when required by the Client.
• Users must not attempt to bypass or tamper with Jekimo authentication or verification mechanisms.
• Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their own devices and credentials used to access services.

4. Client Responsibilities

• Clients must ensure that Jekimo integration complies with applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction.
• Clients are responsible for deciding whether a User can access their service based on Jekimo verification outcomes.
• Clients must handle audit logs securely and may use hash/time-stamp mechanisms to demonstrate integrity of records.

5. Privacy and Data Handling

• Jekimo does not store raw biometric data, personal identifiers, or IP addresses.
• Only anonymized landmark vectors, session tokens, and verification results (OK/KO/risk) are processed.
• Logs may be hashed and time-stamped for integrity verification, but no personal data is retained.
• Jekimo complies with GDPR, LPD, and applicable privacy regulations.

6. Security

• Jekimo uses end-to-end encryption for all communications.
• Session tokens are temporary and cannot be used to reconstruct user identity.
• Clients and Users must follow recommended security practices to maintain confidentiality of tokens and credentials.

7. Limitations of Liability

Jekimo provides the platform "as is." While we implement industry-standard security and privacy measures, Jekimo is not responsible for:

• Any access denial or errors in authentication determined by the Client’s use of verification results.
• Losses, damages, or interruptions arising from User or Client errors.
• Compliance failures due to Client mismanagement of audit logs or session handling.

8. Use Restrictions

• Jekimo must not be used to bypass local laws, regulations, or age restrictions.
• Clients must not attempt to reverse-engineer the Jekimo platform or compromise zero-trust mechanisms.

9. Changes to Terms

Jekimo may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising shall be subject to Swiss jurisdiction unless otherwise agreed.
